V.O.H.M. is commonly explained as “Very Old Highland Malt.” This expression is especially notable for its unusual bottle design, which resembles a Cognac-style presentation of the period. The name and design are often seen as echoing the look and feel of brandy terminology such as V.S.O.P., making this a particularly memorable old bottle from the 1980s.
