Glenfiddich, founded in 1887, is one of the Speyside distilleries most responsible for establishing single malt Scotch as a globally recognized category. It has long been admired for a style often associated with orchard fruit, honey, and approachable elegance, making it one of the classic names in single malt whisky.

This bottle is the older Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Wedgwood-style decanter release, and public market references describe this 75cl / 43% version as a bottling from around 1987. The 750ml format is therefore a good fit for the late-1980s generation of this decanter, and it is often distinguished from later 700ml releases. With its striking ceramic presentation and mature, elegant style, it remains a highly collectible old Glenfiddich bottling.
